Job Summary
Great Rooms Furniture & Mattresses is looking for a Sales Consultant to join our Gaylord team!  Do you love connecting with people, creating memorable customer experiences, and helping others find exactly what they need? We're looking for energetic, responsible, and caring individuals who enjoy working in a fun, family-owned environment where building relationships and delivering exceptional service are at the heart of everything we do.

As a Sales Consultant, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by helping customers create spaces they love while growing your earning potential through our unlimited commission program. Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service 
  • Answer customer questions and engage shoppers with merchandise 
  • Guide customers to products and help them find the best solutions for their needs 
  • Build lasting customer relationships through personalized service 
  • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge 
  • Organize and maintain an attractive, orderly sales floor 
  • Passionately seek opportunities to assist customers throughout the store 
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals 
  • Accurately enter customer information and sales data into computer systems
Qualifications:
  • Proven success in sales or customer-facing roles 
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude 
  • Friendly, personable, and relationship-focused 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment 
  • Understanding of sales principles and customer engagement 
  • Computer proficiency and accurate data entry skills 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods 
Availability Requirements
  •  Availability to work most weekends to maximize our busiest and most rewarding sales opportunities
